CANNABIS CULTURE – Washington state turns to cannabis giveaways to encourage residents to get vaccinated. Meanwhile, 40,000+ people nationwide remain incarcerated for non-violent cannabis offences.
“Joints for Jabs” is officially a thing in Washington state.
The state’s Liquor and Cannabis Board said this week that it would allow state-licensed cannabis retailers to “provide one joint to adult consumers who receive COVID-19 vaccination at an in-store vaccination clinic.”
While this may seem like a “isn’t that weird?” kind of story – truly it is an indication at the gross inequity at the heart of the corporate cannabis takeover.
Cannabis is fair game for corporations and governments to use to bait people into obedience BUT anyone outside that well-connected system will still be arrested, go to jail or perhaps just have their children or their assets seized — for a plant — in 2021.
