In early 2005, Jodie started working as assistant editor of Vancouver-produced Cannabis Culture Magazine, then became the full-time editor by early 2006. She and Marc Emery fell in love in 2004 and got married in the summer of 2006. Jodie is the BC Green Party policing critic, and Green Party of Canada candidate for the upcoming federal election.
