Canadian pot activist Marc Emery has dedicated fans and friends all over the world who are thankful for his years of fighting for cannabis freedoms and other political advocacy.
Over the years, many tributes to Marc have been crafted by artists of various mediums. More than 20 songs, several pipes and bongs, and too many paintings to count (including one comprised of roaches) have been made in the Prince of Pot’s honor.
Undoubtedly competing for the coolest tribute of all is the Prince of Pot Pinball Machine, designed and painted by artist Bob High and given to Marc by activist Marijuana Man on one of his birthdays years ago.
“I got that for him on his 40th birthday, as far as I can remember,” Marijuana Man told Cannabis Culture. “I played the first game on it and got 420,000 points.”
The machine is currently on display at the BCMP Lounge in the Cannabis Culture Headquarters building (307 W. Hastings) in downtown Vancouver. Come on down and see if you can beat the HIGH score.

Marc Emery – the founder of the BC Marijuana Party and former owner of Cannabis Culture Magazine, Pot-TV, and Marc Emery’s Cannabis Culture Headquarters in Vancouver – was the world’s most famous marijuana seed retailer and one of the largest financial supporters of the marijuana movement world-wide. In 2005, the US Drug Enforcement Administration and Canadian law enforcement arrested him in Canada and shut down his company, Marc Emery Direct Seeds.
Marc is now imprisoned in Yazoo City, Mississippi after being extradited to the US on May 20, 2010 by the Canadian government. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison for “distribution of marijuana” seeds, though the US DEA admitted it was really for his political activism and years of financing the marijuana legalization movement.
