12 year party

Every year the media poke fun at the thousands of aimless stoners who gather . shout and get intoxicated in public..Maybe some close ups on vulgar displays of excess and the occasional poorly made home sign.. some furry ling hairs muttering crap. That's all that ever happens and then the legions of stoners stumble home and call it "stickin' it to the man" -- and what an enormous pile of garbage we all leave behind ya, right .. call it a pic nic but don;t call it effective politics because it just isn't effective in any way that matters
See you all next year, and the year after that..probably forever
and Marc was not even identified as the leader of the 420 society- he came off as just some crazy old white guy in a suit shouting anarchy from the stage,,

NM next act is the Rob Nicholson magic show with our disappearing civil rights.. nothing up his sleeve..now watch him make all our pot disappear and your liberty

so why are we winning?

When I first got involved in this movement, it was illegal to advocate legalization. These sorts of events, despite the negative portrayal by anti-democratic media and the politicians pretending not to know, brought more people out of the closet and have effectively normalized marijuana to the point where legalization is inevitable. This last ditch effort of the right wing extremists to prevent it will be a large part of what loses them the next election.
What if we all wore suits and ties and did our hair just like Stephen Harper's? Would we look better on camera? No. We'd look like a convention of pedophiles/lawyers/businessmen/politicians/social workers and other anti-social criminals and enemies of freedom and democracy.

All Directions

We must approach the fight for Cannabis freedom from all sides. Protest and political action. Some are good at the political stuff others are are good at making a show.

So $#@!'n Proud

Im glad to see my stoner bredren finally getting thier time to shine, I was once one of you. As a prominent professional in my community I cannot be so visible with my support for cannabis legalization, but my heart is with you, and i know we will succeed. . keep it coming. . . from all angles.
