CANNABIS CULTURE – CannaFest 2014 – last Saturday night in Vancouver – was part marijuana expo, part metal concert, part comedy show, and don’t forget the part where we all got super high.
80’s musical acts like Helix (pictured above) pounded out the ear-thrashing tunes while potheads perused trade-show style tables filled with marijuana stuff of all types.
CannaFest 2014 was created by Executive Director of the B.C. Pain Society Chuck Varabioff, and the event featured a strong medical marijuana contingent.
Activists Marc and Jodie Emery were in the house signing up members for the Liberal Party of Canada and letting people know about Jodie’s campaign to be a Member of Parliament in Vancouver East.
Dispensaries, edible bakers, and extract makers set up various tables displaying their products, like this one from Pure Shatter.
Candies, cookies, and other tasty goodies of all kinds were available to medpot patients at CannaFest.
Ganja girls chillin at the CANADABS booth.
