On Tuesday, agents from the DEA were assisted by Denver Police in raiding multiple locations throughout the city involved in the cultivation of marijuana.
Denver Police tweeted on Tuesday “ALERT: Area law enforcement are conducting an ongoing investigation involving illegal drug activity. No further info at this time.”
According to Associated Press, authorities seized thousands of marijuana plants and up to $1 million in cash as part of the investigation tied to illegal marijuana distribution in Minnesota, said a federal official not authorized to speak publicly about the case.
No arrests were made in conjunction with the raids, which the official said involved people from Minnesota who had come to Colorado to set up their allegedly illegal marijuana growing operations.
