Why You Should Fight Canada’s New Medical Marijuana Regulations

POT TV – Fight The MMPR!: Activist Ted Smith explains the why you should join protests of Canada’s new medical marijuana regulations TODAY at Member of Parliament offices across Canada.

From YouTube: The MMPR (marihuana for medical purpose regulations) has been proposed to replace the MMAR (marihuana medical access regulations) and central to that change is the removal of the right for patients to grow their own cannabis medicine or have a caregiver grow for them. The new program estimates prices to rise beyond the reach of many of the most vulnerable Canadians: medical cannabis patients who have found that other medications are inneffective and seek to maintain their lives. If you are as concerned as we are please join the fight and be heard.

Protest organizers are encouraging anyone who can’t make it out to participate in a “phone jam” aimed at the office of our Minister of Health, Leona Aglukkaq, as well as a letter writing campaign. Tell the Minister what you think about the new regulations!
