POT TV – Watch new episodes of The Jodie Emery Show each week for the latest news on Marc Emery, CCHQ, and Canada’s cannabis community. In this episode: Marc’s birthday is coming up February 13th, and Jodie recieved a beautiful Valentine’s Day card from him, made in the prison where he has 520 days left on his sentence. He was also featured in The Province newspaper nominating him for the job of consulting to the Washington State Liquor Control Board to help them produce and distribute legal marijuana. Read Marc’s (tongue-in-cheek) application on his Cannabis Culture blog.
Jodie shares her thoughts and a short video from the Michelle Rainey memorial bench warming ceremony we attended with a big group of others on Saturday, January 19. See that video and visit http://www.MichelleRainey.com to learn more about Michelle and what she did for medical marijuana activism.
Rallies across Canada are being organized by Ted Smith leading activist from Victoria, BC to fight the current changes to the Health Canada Medical Marijuana program. Find out where and when on CC at http://fightthemmpr.ca and stay tuned for more stories and news (about the campaigns to stop the federal government from taking away patients’ right to grow their own medicine) at http://www.CannabisCulture.com and http://www.Pot.tv
Verdicts where reached in the Chris Williams’ and Matt Mernagh’s cases, and Jodie fills us in on the details of those results. Chris got a 5-year sentence, and Matt lost his appeal in the Ontario Court of Appeals. It was bad news for both cases, but the fight goes on!
