Checked in with Goodster yesterday regarding Principle of Pot ticket sales. We’re excited to report The Bloor Cinema is almost 2/3 full for this Saturday, June 12, movie premier. Toronto Hash Mob has been busy making preparations for what surely will be a fantastic memorable doobie filled day.
Already 600 potheads intend to make it a fab big day out. On average Vapor Central is selling 15 tickets a day. With a Wednesday night comedy show to go. Anticipate a high attendance numbers at The Bloor Cinema.
It’s awesome when other groups pick up on Toronto Hash Mob enthusiasm. Activist upstarts Oshawa Cannabis Day (July 1st) have rented a limo to take them to Principle of Pot Premier.
Talk about responsible marijuana use!
Jodie Emery will be their guest for the limo ride from Yongesterdam to The Bloor Cinema. Like all of ten minutes. Depending on traffic. Ten minutes is a quick session if it’s pre-rolled. Hopefully we’ll be able to convince director Paul McKeever to go for a ride.
Goodster is working hard to create a real movie premier magic vibe. Don’t be surprised if there’s a red carpet. We intend to create a great scene for wonderful FaceBook photos.
With nothing planned Saturday afternoon for Toronto Cannabis Cup doobie delegates, we worked some magic with organizers to get cream buds for movie tickets. Who’s getting cream cannabis buds? Toronto Hash Mob is getting the cream buds! Just kidding. Maybe.
As a voting block Toronto Hash Mob do insist on being lobbied heavily by this years entrants.
Toronto Cannabis Cup attendees look for your ticket in your delegate bag.
I believe Principle of Pot is the missing element that will put Toronto Cannabis Cup over the top. This is not just an afternoon at The Bloor Cinema watching a movie.
Jodie Emery will update movie goers about her husband Marc Emery life in a federal prison. Director Paul McKeever is eager to answer your questions. Other folks hauling out from Vancouver include Jacob Hunter (Why Prohibition) and Jermiah VanDermeer (Cannabis Culture editor). A Toronto Hash Mob honor guard will be on hand.
Ganja gawd damn what an upcoming weedend Toronto.
NXNE music showcase is also happening. With a free show by Iggy and the Stooges at Yonge and Dundas Square. The same outdoor venue THM uses for their smoke outs. I’ve already jumped off the Y&D Square stage once this year. Twice in one year after a decade of retirement. Maybe. I’ll probably just stand at the back with the other music hacks.
If you see me ducking out, it’s because I’m being a Toronto Hash Mob Hipster.
