Newshawks: Teacher Says He Never Sold Drugs To Students

FORT WORTH — A Fort Worth middle school teacher spoke out on Friday after police said they caught him in a school zone with a pile of marijuana — some of it ready for sale. Jahmal Clark spoke with NBC 5’s Kristi Nelson right after he was released from the Tarrant County Jail. He said he wanted to make it clear that he loved being a teacher and never sold drugs to children. Clark was arrested two days ago just blocks from the school where he worked. “This is a mistake that a man in a financial bind made,” he said. “It was just a bad situation and a bad decision.
