AIRY BUD
My plants are about 3 feet tall and have immaculate looking buds on them, but I have been unable to get large and dense buds even though all the hairs and stigmas are completely red when harvested. My 4?x8? system is lit by two 1000w HPS lamps on tracks. The room stays in the mid-70?s.

I have a blunt message for the Drug Enforcement Administration: I grow marijuana for profit in the United States, you can't stop me, and you are ignorant fools.
I want to make sure I explain my message to the DEA clearly and in detail. One reason is that the DEA people appear to be intellectually deficient, so I have to design my message so that it could be understood even by a child.

Inbreeding

I am planning to start breeding a strain that is short with a mild aroma, a high yield, and most importantly, is highly disease resistant.
To develop this strain I'll need to inbreed. However, this lowers the immune system and vigor. I don't want that to happen. To counter this tendency do I have to develop two separate lines that will be crossed eventually?

I live in the middle of Brazil. I'm trying to decide what kind of seeds to buy that will work well in this climate. The sun is very hot down here. Summers are humid but it is dryer and rains less in the winter.

Our plants are flowering and all of the plants have done well, but we keep getting hermaphrodites. They destroyed the last harvest. Most are from seeds we have ordered. We removed them from the garden but it was too late. They pollinated most of the crop. What should we do? Do we need to sterilize the whole room and start over or just continue with the garden as it is?

My question concerns seedling selection for breeding purposes. I bought a packet of Power Plant seeds from Dutch Passion. Seven sprouted. Five are perfect specimens and two are deformed at the first set of leaves. They are growing slower than the rest. My intention is to let the males pollinate the females for a seed crop, to retain the Power Plant genetics for future breeding and bud.

Cannabis that is adapted to middle to higher latitudes uses a critical dark period as a signal to flower. The dark period lengthens throughout the summer. Adapted plants trigger in time to flower and produce viable seed.

I have been growing intermittently for the past seven years. I have had a small percentage of hermaphrodites in nearly every crop. I have been told that it is due to the plants' environmental conditions, too much nitrogen, or breaking the light cycle, which I didn't do. Clones from mothers that I grew invariably had male flowers pop right out in the middle of beautiful nugs.

Unusual morphology

When most plants are flowering the bud sites alternate, with the first two branches opposite each other, then another two each facing 90 degrees from the last set. However, there's my Durban x Skunk. It has three bud sites at each node, going all the way up the cola. My other plants don't do this. Any ideas about this?

I'm growing Haze from Willy Jack Seeds. I noticed that the plants are not all similar. Out of 10 seeds only 2 of the 6 females seemed like sisters. Is that normal for a strain?

The plant was likely a genetic hermaphrodite, since none of its sisters turned hermaphroditic under the same conditions.

I got some great genetics from British Columbia and after weeding out the males I found two hermaphrodites after five weeks of a 12-hour light cycle. They managed to pollinate all the females to one extent or another.
