Britain's pot-debate has been heating up.
Anti-drug Minister Mo Mowlam has confessed to smoking pot while at Iowa University, and she has refused to rule out decriminalizing the herb.

New Scotland Yard chief Sir John Stevens has indicated that cannabis laws are not a priority for the police. A Police Federation report due out in April, partly funded by the Home Office, is also expected to recommend cannabis decriminalization.

Brit pop-star Noel Gallagher of Oasis stepped into the fray, telling media "almost all drugs are good... I've had good times on them all."

The opposition Conservatives have been speaking out against pot-tolerance, but one of their candidates says pot can be good. Former Army colonel Patrick Mercer told media "There are positive sides to soft drugs."
