Cloning a flowering plant

Can I grow cuttings from a flowering plant?

I have a plant that is in the fourth week of an eight-week flowering cycle. I would like to take some cuttings from it. Can I still root them and bring them back to vegetative so that I can grow them larger or make them into mothers?

Yes. Take the cuttings from the lower branches. Then treat them as you would other cuttings. Keep the light on continuously. As the cutting grows roots, they will also revert to the vegetative cycle. By the time they are ready to transplant, they will be growing leaf, not bud.
