Daughter to be returned after 2 year separation

Stephen Bacon is under evaluation by court-appointed assessors who will decide if his medical marijuana use makes him an unfit parent. Bacon holds an exemption from the Canadian Minister of Health, making him a legal medical marijuana user.
At his December 15 assessment last year, child psychologists watched from behind glass as he and his daughter played for two hours.

"This is the second Christmas that I haven't been able to see my daughter. Even two hours with her at this time of year made me happy."

The assessment went well, said Bacon.

"I told them how cannabis helps me spiritually, medically and psychologically. They said that I will get my daughter back."

Bacon was told to take the assessment during a heated custody battle.
