Worldwide hemp

Countries and states go for hemp cultivation

Hemp is now legally grown in 32 countries. The American states of Arkansas, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota and Virginia all passed pro-hemp bills last year that provide for some form of research or potential production of the crop.
America's first test plots were planted in Hawaii in December, with approval from the DEA.
