don't you mean medical 'advice'? let's not get all technical. someone needs to take a look in the mirror and a puff or two.

on another note... it IS great to hear advice from someone that has experience with pregnancy AND pot... rather than hearing how the two go hand-in-hand from a pot-free, total law-abiding medical expert. I think it's all great advice.

HOWEVER, even though marijuana does no real HARM to the fetus, brain devolopment continues into adolescence and there have been links between ADD, nervous system differences later in life for baby and pot-smoking mothers. this is something i personally have struggled with and so has the father of my unborn. for this reason and that i cannot grow my own weed and ensure that it is purely marijuana and has no added chemicals, i have chosen to limit my smoking to the times when i just really need to relax and get in-touch with myself. normally i am a regular smoker and i love marijuana, but i would encourage ALL expecting women to become informed the best they can from all resources of knowledge available to them, take all factors into consideration, and make the decision that fits their lifestyle, desires, and situations the best. it doesn't have to be black & white! smoke or no smoke! do what works! keep in mind that fetus' are especially vulnerable during weeks 3 to 8 and to check up on laws in your states. i know where i live, my baby WOULD be taken away from me if THC showed up in a test directly before or after labour. also, if you don't smoke weed already, you would probably be best off to wait and enjoy the herb once your baby no longer depends on your body or breastmilk.

HAPPY BABIES ARE HEALTHY BABIES!! best wishes for all mommies to-be
