If you want proof that Mr. Emery has actually won then look at what the Supreme Court recently did for marijuana or what all of Obama's administration is now saying about 'drugs'. The focus is now on prescription drugs, which are now the second-leading cause of death among certain age groups. Everybody from political advisers to republican lawmakers are gaining support based on their plans to end this war (in practice, not just in speech..)
The tide has turned, and certain factions of our government just refuse to believe the self-evident truth. These things take time, but there seems like absolutely no reason Mr. Emery should be considered a threat to anyone. Even our president has already been made well aware that the public has resoundingly spoken on this issue; perhaps it's just our corporate-run media that is distorting the picture so badly, but honestly who cares? Now that science and logic seem to apply to government policy, we can expect great change from our elected officials...
