I can understand keeping the harder drugs such as heroin, meth etc on the books but marijuana? The time has come for our government to wake up and legalize marijuana and put an end to wasting billions of dollars a year in a war that they cannot possibly win.I understand that it would mean the loss of jobs for some of those who work with the DEA and other law enforcement groups but in the end their just dead weight anyways and not really earning the money that they do make. Also many of those in the DEA and law enforcement themselves use marijuana and other drugs as it is a well known fact. There are also many of them who do not sibmit all that they find. Many of them keep a portion of the drugs for themselves along with cash and other items found at the scene of a bust.Legalizing marijuana though would be a great way to help get the country out of the mess it is in right now.The billions in revenue that the sales of marijuana would make far out weigh the costs of trying to keep it out of the hands of Americans. It is totaly harmless when used with a vaporisor or used in cooking compared to the harmfull effects of all tobaco products and alcahol. It's time for a new begening and the legalization of marijuana in the United States
