I am throughly sick and tired of people who are in positions of power playing these games. how many times has there been someone who has the ability to make actual change happen and yet they do nothing but speak out once they are no longer in that position. bill clinton is a good example of this, he will often mention how the war on drugs is not working and advocates legalization of marijuana but all that time in office he did nothing. I am sick of politicians telling us what we want to hear and then pushing it under the rug. If Obama's statement on the government raids of dispensaries was not on video and didn't receive such harsh criticism after saying that he did not wish to use his power to change that situation, would anything be done?. chances are the man that campaigned using "change" as his platform would do nothing about it. Even though they announced that they plan to change the federal law, nothing will happen for a long time. I understand that the American economy will be the first and foremost priority and that makes sense, however it will more than likely be years before anything is changed. furthermore as a Canadian i am sick and tired of the inaccessibility to medical marijuana in this country because my condition does not fall into category 1. i am sick and tired of the hypocrisy's of doctors not wanting to sign the application because they are told not to by their insurance companies and the other barriers that make it inaccessible .
