Bubbler for wick system

I have a wick system and was wondering if I need to add an air bubbler to my reservoir. The roots have grown down the wicks and have a couple of inches that are not in the water. I use a fan that blows fresh air onto the entire system.

Canada began 2003 with a series of monumental court decisions which are spelling the end of pot prohibition in America's northern neighbor. On January 2, an Ontario judge ruled that Canada's law against marijuana possession is invalid and of no force. A week later, Ontario's highest court ruled that Canada's Medical Marijuana Access Regulations are unconstitutional, and gave the feds six months to rewrite the law or have it struck down entirely.

Cops raid wrong home

Police in San Antonio, Texas, raided the wrong home looking for "drugs and guns" in November 2002. During the raid officers beat the innocent residents, putting one man in the hospital and knocking the teeth from another.
Three men aged between 17 and 20 were sitting and watching TV in their apartment when police shattered the back glass door. A dozen officers entered the apartment, screaming profanities and pointing guns, while tear gas filled the room.

Philip Mann was questioned by police officers acting on a description of a break and enter suspect. In a pat-down search they found a 27.5-gram bag of marijuana. The trial judge concluded that the marijuana was the product of an unreasonable search, and excluded the evidence. Mann was acquitted of possession for the purpose of trafficking. The Crown appealed.

EU Parliamentarians against the drug war

108 Members of the European Parliament (MEP) have signed a draft resolution calling for an end to drug prohibition. Representing about one sixth of the Parliament's members, MEPs from seven political parties and 13 European Union countries have agreed to urge the UN and its member states to establish a "system for the legal control and regulation of the production, sale and consumption of substances which are currently illegal."

I used to plant my seed in the soil and wait four or five days to see them popping up. Now I use a Baby Wipe Warmer to get my seeds ready to plant. After just one day I see white stems popping out. Then I put them in the soil or rockwool.

Thanks for the tip, Ron, Keeping the seeds warm and moist speeds up germination.

A horticultural heating mat can be used under a 10-inch x 20-inch tray to keep the seedlings warm as they are starting growth.

Two undercover agents went to the hydroponics store of Pascal-Fr?d?rick Desbiens, 28, and ordered a 200-plant table. Desbiens delivered cuttings for propagation later.

A search of Desbiens' residence revealed a 132-plant operation. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to produce, trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking and production of marijuana, and three counts of possession of proceeds of crime.

Fire insurance

The plaintiffs' house was destroyed by a fire.

Their insurance company refused to pay out on their policy, because the plaintiffs had not informed them that the building had housed a marijuana grow op, that there had been damage and that the electricity had been diverted then disconnected when police seized the evidence.

The plaintiffs lost.

Police received a tip that Brian Pelley, 39, was being supplied hash oil and marijuana from Ontario. They got a search warrant and seized eight ounces of hash oil and an ounce of marijuana.

Joseph Hutchings, 42, pleaded guilty to cultivation, possession for the purpose of trafficking and to theft of electricity in respect of 3,500-plant grow operation. He had two previous convictions for trafficking. In each case he alleged he had been pressured by the Hell's Angels to set up a marijuana grow operation. He had convictions for theft of electricity, assault and aggravated assault.

On June 11, 2001 the Supreme Court ruled U.S. v Kyllo in a five to four decision that people have an expectation of privacy in their homes. Using high technology to detect heat coming from the premises is an invasion of that privacy and cannot be used to obtain a search warrant.
