I'm growing the strain "Manitoba Poison." Although it is supposed to be derived from "pure South African seedlines," it has begun to show its ruderalis heritage by flowering under a 24/0 light regimen.
Now that my hopes of raising the plant as a mother are squashed, I'd like to flower them. Given it is an automatic strain, how many hours of light should they receive to maximize yield?

Can I harvest just the large center buds that have already matured? Will the smaller side buds continue to mature with 12/12 lights, or should I harvest the entire plant at once?

Harvest no bud before it's ripe. Yes, you can harvest the buds that are ripe, leaving the ripening buds more time and probably more light.

Two Mexican generals were found guilty in November of protecting drug smugglers and using military airplanes to transport shipments of cocaine and marijuana. They were accused of working for drug lord Amado Carrillo Fuentes, who died in 1997 after undergoing plastic surgery.
The pair were tried by a military court and sentenced to 15 and 16 years in prison. They were stripped of their rank and had cars and other goods confiscated.

Light and reflective floors

I am setting up a room 6' x 4' with two HPS 600-watt lights. While setting up, I thought the use of a reflective "space blanket" on the floor would improve light penetration and plant growth. However, now having the lights and everything set up, I'm starting to think that this may be a bit of overkill and may actually damage the plants. Metal halide for flowering?

I know your advice is to use high-pressure sodium lamps for both vegetative and flowering cycles.
I have two 250-watt metal halide industrial lamps. I can't afford to buy HPS units because in Britain they cost $150 a piece without lamps.

Can I use my MH lamps successfully from start to finish? Will the crop be worth the smoke? Why is the HPS lamp better?

In October, a coalition of groups filed a petition with the DEA to reschedule cannabis. Their action forces the Department of Health and Human Services to evaluate cannabis' safety, medicinal use and potential for dependence, and report their findings to the DEA. The DEA must then use this information to either reschedule cannabis, or justify their continued prohibition of medicinal cannabis.
