Suspended RCMP officer Ron Francis, who uses legal medical marihuana to treat his PTSD, was interviewed via Skype for weekly weed webcast The Mernahuana Zone. The webcast is livestreamed from bring your own cannabis lounge Vapor Central and hosted by popular marijuana advocate and journalist Matt Mernagh.
Mernagh told viewers the Conservative’s ideological machine is attempting to crush a person who uses legal medical marihuana. It’s vicious attack on person who is relieving their trauma by legally medicating because closeted cannabis people saw Cpl Francis speak about his marijuana experiences and felt embolden.
Francis spoke at length to TMZ about his experiences both before coming out of the medical cannabis closet and after. He, like many Canadians, tried a slew of prescription medications before giving cannabis a try. Francis’s discovered, again like many Canadians lied to by prohibition, cannabis worked better than any prescription.
The RCMP as a whole has an undiagnosed PTSD problem, Francis’s original intention for medicating on YouTube was too draw attention to PTSD in the force. He says the Commissioner and PMO’s office knew his intention a week before he went public.
Where there is prohibition – TMZ will be there.
It’s not odd TMZ would want to interview Ron Francis, but it took sometime for the medicating mountie to speak with infamous cannabis activist. After an email exchange and two failed efforts, we spoke on the phone for an hour casually and then it was set. Producer Chris Goodwin was instrumental in making this happen and hung in there for months.
