The Jodie Emery Show: Parliament Press Conference and Phone Blitz on October 29

POT TV – Watch new episodes of The Jodie Emery Show each week for the latest news on Marc Emery, CCHQ, and Canada’s cannabis community. In this episode (recorded October 17, 2013): On October 29th we’re having a phone blitz asking everyone to call the Canadian Public Safety Minister, Steven Blaney, to request that Marc be transferred back to Canada. All of the info about that can be found here.

There’s still time to gather signatures requesting that Marc be transferred back to Canada before Jodie takes them to Ottawa for a press conference. Download the petition. You can sign it or take it to your friends and family. We need to get as many signatures as possible and you’re help would be greatly appreciated.

Marc has a new blog about waiting out his transfer and for the Canadian Government to sign the papers.

Washington State has finally tabled their rules concerning the sale of cannabis. Jodie has been busy with local press talking about how this will lead to a loss of tourism dollars that will now be going across the border.

The Sensible BC is moving forward and is halfway through the 90 day campaign to gather signatures to force a referendum to vote on decriminalizing cannabis. They need lots of help canvassing for signatures. Please contact them at http://sensiblebc.ca/ to see the many ways you can get involved to help push the campaign over the edge.

October 20th will be a sad day as we remember the passing of Michelle Rainey, a prominent activist and member of the Cannabis Culture family. Her foundation has placed a bench in her honour in Maple Ridge, BC. You can pay your respects if you’re in the area. Get all the info at http://michellerainey.com/.

There will be a benefit concert on November 13, 2013 with the Little Rascalz, DJ’s and special guests to raise money for a fight against the changes to medical marijuana program here in Canada. The MMAR Coalition Against Repeal is mounting a legal challenge along with prominent cannabis lawyer John Conroy. That’s in Vancouver at the Fortune Sound Nightclub.
