VICE Explores B.C. Bud

CANNABIS CULTURE – A crew from VICE magazine who visited CCHQ and the BCMP Vapor Lounge in December has released a three-part documentary about British Columbia’s marijuana industry and culture.

Watch the three part series B.C. Bud:

Part 3 on VICE

From VICE:

With a reported value of over six billion dollars, it’s no secret that marijuana in British Columbia is big business. However, due to the recent legalization of weed in Washington and Colorado, the draconian crime laws pushed forward by the Canadian Conservative government’s omnibus crime bill, and recent changes to medical marijuana regulations—the entire industry is suddenly facing an identity crisis. VICE Canada decided to head out west to talk to the people directly affected by these recent events: from the legalization activists and the large and small scale growers, to the illegal traffickers and law enforcement, we talked to the people on the front lines of the battle for control over one of Canada’s most undervalued resource. This is B.C. Bud.

this report is very usefull and informative on the marijuana scene.

it’s fun after all the years of struggle that the Princess is catching on.

Lots of fine keen insights throughout the report but one point stands out from Jody Emery that this ‘peace work’ will never stop as the prohibitionist will try to take away our gains. Bob Marley said the same thing, ‘this peace work never stop’ ‘never end’  It is a life committment that only certain people have. A gift you might say to exist only for the truth.
