President Obama Says “It Would Not Make Sense” To Go After Legal Marijuana Users

POT TV – President Barack Obama told ABC News’ Barbara Walters that “it would not make sense for us to see a top priority as going after recreational users in states that have determined that it’s legal.”

“We’ve got bigger fish to fry,” Obama said in reference to legalization ballot initiatives in Colorado and Washington passed during the last election.

Will Obama follow through on his word? Or will he continue to bust users anyway (like he did the last time he promised to leave medical marijuana users alone)?

WATCH Cannabis Culture News LIVE today at 4PM Pacific on Pot TV for a LIVE interview with NORML Executive Director Allen St. Pierre about Obama’s latest comments on legal marijuana.

Funny, I remember him saying that about medicinal mariuana too, and look what happened. Just another politician telling yet another lie…

I don’t trust this slime ball… he said pretty much the same thing about MMJ, and his minions have not been kind to the industry, particularly in Cali. They have been better here in Colorado. He may not go after individuals, but I doubt that he will turn a blind eye to cultivation and retail outlets. The Congress needs to order a re-scheduling to at least class II, preferably class III. Our growers and retail outlets are going to have to run squeaky clean operations, making sure that they don’t violate interstate transport, avoid criminal elements, etc.
