Aaron Sandusky walked into federal court on Friday facing six marijuana-related charges, and a jury later that afternoon found him guilty of two of them. He is now facing a possible life sentence in federal prison.
Sandusky, who ran G3 Holistic, Inc. in Upland, Colton and Moreno Valley,
was found guilty of two conspiracy counts related to a federal raid on Nov. 1, 2011 at an Ontario warehouse facility, said his attorney Roger Jon Diamond. The two counts are conspiracy to manufacture marijuana plants and intent to distribute 1,000 plants.
The jury deadlocked on the remaining four counts during the trial in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.
Diamond said he was disappointed with the verdicts. “Just given the fact we could not put on any evidence that we had,” he said.
Sandusky, who had been free on bail, was taken into custody after the proceedings. Sentencing is set for Jan. 7.
