    It costs next to nothing to grow buds in my yard. Maybe I should contact some of those big drug companies.

    It is cheaper for big business to produce a much more powerful pill than to produce a small bud. Same for hemp as it is more expensive to plant and harvest than producing nylon & other synthetic fabrics. Simple economics is the reason cannabis & hemp prohibition still exists. Health & the Environment does not come into the equation.
