Cannabis Culture News LIVE: Seattle Hempfest 2011

CANNABIS CULTURE – Watch Cannabis Culture News LIVE for the latest news and views on pot politics and the marijuana community. In this episode: Seattle Hempfest celebrated its 20th Anniversary and CC was there! We play videos of speeches and performances.

Seattle Hempfest 2011 was a protest and a festival – a protestival – of massive proportions. 300,000 people gathered in three waterfront parks to blaze heavily and call for an end to marijuana and hemp prohibition. CC Editor Jeremiah Vandermeer was on location with Princess of Pot Jodie Emery and photographer Carina Gonzalez and our cameras didn’t stop the entire time. We show you some of the best moments.

Jeremiah also discusses his trip to the Shambhala Music Festival and the untimely death of NDP leader Jack Layton.
