Libby Davies Says NO to the War on Drugs at Vancouver 4/20

Speaking at the 2011 Vancouver 4/20 celebration, NDP Member of Parliament Libby Davies said drug prohibition is harmful to Canada. She criticized Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s plans to enact mandatory minimum prison sentences for non-violent marijuana offences.

Davies also discussed the unjust imprisonment of activist Marc Emery in a US prison for selling marijuana seeds on the internet.
