Vote Dana! Tommy Chong and Dana Larsen Team up for Two Fundraisers

BC NDP leadership candidate Dana Larsen and new NDP member Tommy Chong will team up for two days of fundraising, beginning tonight with a film screening and live performance at the Rio Theatre in downtown Vancouver.

An Intimate Evening with Chong & Chong: The Tommy & Shelby Chong Fundraiser for the Dana Larsen Campaign starts at 7pm with a screening of the film a/k/a Tommy Chong, followed with a performance by Tommy and his wife Shelby. The two will join Dana after the show to answer questions to talk to the audience.

The doors open MONDAY, MARCH 7 at the RIO THEATRE at 6:30PM (show goes till 10PM).

The Vote Dana Larsen MoneyBomb Fundraiser

The day afterward, on TUESDAY, MARCH 8, tune into CannabisCulture.com and USTREAM for The Vote Dana Larsen MoneyBomb Fundraiser from 3PM – 11PM.

Tommy Chong, Jodie Emery, Marijuana Man, yours truly, and other Pot-TV personalities will join Dana to help raise money for his provincial campaign. The show will include music from live bands, information about Dana and his campaign and questions and answers with the candidate and other members of B.C.’s cannabis culture.

Dana Larsen is a long-time marijuana activist and founding editor of Cannabis Culture Magazine, the founder of the Vancouver Seed Bank and founding director of The Vancouver Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary, as well as the former leader of the B.C. Marijuana Party.

Tommy Chong, a resident of British Columbia, signed up for membership in the BC NDP and voiced his support for Larsen shortly after Larsen announced his candidacy in the leadership race. Dana’s campaign has also received the support of celebrity pot-advocate and pro wrestler Rob Van Dam.

If elected, Larsen has promised to end the war on marijuana in British Columbia by halting funding for pot-related police enforcement.
