Cannabis Culture News LIVE: Unlicenced Medical Marijuana Grower Goes To Court

CANNABIS CULTURE – Watch Cannabis Culture News LIVE for the latest on pot politics and the cannabis community. Today on the show: News on the global Drug War, Jodie Emery discusses the latest on Prince of Pot Marc Emery, and activist Matt Mernagh joins us by phone to discuss his ongoing court case for growing medical marijuana without a licence.

Pot activist and writer Matt Mernagh is a medical marijuana user who was busted growing 70 plants in St. Catharines, Ontario. Mernagh had attempted unsuccessfully for years to find a doctor that would sign his medical marijuana licence papers, even though he suffers from Fibromyalgia and Scoliosis. He was busted and charged with one count of production, and is now changeling the constitutionality of Canadian production laws.
