Marc’s the only person on that list I’ve even heard of. How ironic that his newsmaking was the result of the Harper government’s insane vendetta against those who refuse to agree that Jesus is a comin’ and he’s gonna get everyone but Harper and Nicholson, cuz he only likes nerdy dumb people.

Honestly… not one of those other names / groups of people have as much of an impact on the average Canadian as Marc Emery does. Nuff sed.

I think (as a former reporter-newscaster) that this nomination by the CBC … if Marc is mentioned, is a good thing. This only serves to bring more attention to Marcs’ and our cause. Marc Emery deserves our love and help for all he’s done fighting for Cannabis and natural law. Regardless of what happens to Marc, if he is extradited or released…our efforts to reveal the insanity of the drugwar must increase until prohibition is done away with forever. Jah bless brother and sister Emery.

I would not want to make the top 5 news makers of the year list for a situation in which I was going to lose 5 years of my life for selling marijuana seeds.
