Disabled Man Robbed of Medical Marijuana Permit

Police in East Greenwich are investigating an armed home invasion and robbery at the home of a man who is partially paralyzed.

Investigators say the crime happened November 22nd on Moosehorn Road. At this time, police have no suspects in the case.

Police say the suspect robbed the victim at gunpoint of pain medication, credit cards, cash, and his permits for driving, hunting and growing medical marijuana.

According to the Providence Journal , police are also considering filing charges against the victim, Randy Nowicki, 39, and his brother Christopher Nowicki, 36 of West Greenwich, for growing more than the permitted number of medical marijuana plants in the basement of Randy’s Moosehorn Road home.
