At the Awards show Monday night, Jan. 22, CITIZEN MARC took 3 awards, best actor (Jeff Werkmeister playing Marc Emery), best director (John Gerry), and best “Bruhaha” (publicity & media).

Citizen Marc: The Adventures of Marc Emery, a play about the London-born marijuana crusader, leads nominations for the fifth annual Brickenden Awards with seven, including best production.
The Brickendens, to be pre sented Monday, are named for the late local actor, director and play wright Catharine Brickenden and celebrate excellence in local, independent theatre productions.
The Bricks will be handed out at the Wolf Performance Hall, beginning at 7 p.m. The $10 tickets are available at the door.
