Federal Agents Raid Sacramento Medical Pot Store

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Medical marijuana protesters jeered federal drug agents conducting a raid Wednesday at a midtown Sacramento medical marijuana store.

In a first for Sacramento, Drug Enforcement Agency officials served a search warrant at Capitol Alternatives, a marijuana dispensary at 16th and U streets.

Protesters outside the store chanted “DEA, go away!” But a DEA official said the business was an illegal cannibis club. Three shop employees were detained, but no arrests were made.
