Old marijuana

I moved into a house that had been vacant for a few years and started cleaning it out. I found four mason jars of primo-looking buds in the basement. They were packed into a travel bag with receipts from 1999. Then, in the attic, I found some sort of hash rolled into long cylinders. It was tightly wrapped in cellophane and brightly colored metal foil.
I opened one jar and unwrapped a piece of the hash. They both smelled fresh and clean so I sampled them and they are both head-changers.

Are they safe to use?

You have already tried the marijuana and hash that you found. You found it a pleasant experience and experienced no side effects or other signs that gave you pause. Based on your observations I think that these treasures are safe to use.
The finger hash is probably from Nepal or Northern India. It is probably much older than 1999. Really good hand-rolled finger hash became rare in the early 1980’s. You have uncovered a rare find that is surprisingly well preserved.

Don’t you wish the drugs could talk and tell you their stories? Instead you will share their accumulated wisdom using fire.
