Unusual plant

I planted some seeds of unknown origin. Most of the leaves on one of the plants have a single blade. A few have three blades. The plant is growing more like a vine than a normal upright pot plant. Have you encountered any plants like this?
Farmas, California

I occasionally see plants with single-bladed leaves. Several populations of these plants had only a single stalk and very short branching, if any. Usually they are not as vigorous as their sisters.

I have also seen two populations of vine-like marijuana plants. This growth pattern is a very important characteristic that should be conserved. It significantly increases the choices of cultivation methods. Clones, which can be made by rooting cuttings, preserve the plant’s exact genetics.
