Plant too tall

My plant grew to the height of nine feet and produced a good size indoor crop. The problem I had was that the buds were very loose. Is there a way to increase the bud density of my new batch of clones?

The reason your plant grew so tall and had loose buds is that it was a variety unsuitable for indoor cultivation. It is Sativa-dominant and requires high light levels. Indoors, varieties should be compact and adapted to light levels that are usually considerably less intense than summer and early fall sunlight.

I’m a 74 year old woman with a medical card, a long history of toking, and a first time grower on my own. I have 5 plants in pots in my greenhouse. They’ve reached the ceiling of the greenhouse. I know I can bend them down and I’ve been told that I can “top” them, but they have started to flower, and I’m afraid it’s too late to do either of these things. I don’t know who to talk to about this, but I’ve known Ed Rosenthal’s name for years and can’t think of anyone better to guide me. Thanks for any direction you can give me.
