Get Cooked!

Quesadillas are tortillas made from corn or flour, folded over a cheese filling, sometimes with the addition of other ingredients. They are cooked until the cheese is melted and the tortilla begins to crisp.
In some areas, an uncooked corn tortilla is folded over the cheese and fillings and sealed like a turnover, then deep fried until crisp.

Marijuana Man came up with this catchy name, Sensimilla Quesadilla, and I thought, ‘hey, we can do that!’

So here they are… Goce su quesadillas! (Makes 1-2 servings.)

1. Brush one side of a tortilla shell with oil.
2. Place shell, oil side down, onto a large, pre-heated fry pan (med-high heat). Wait until tortilla starts to bubble.
3. Reduce to medium heat, then add cheese (plus any other fillings) to cover half of the tortilla.
4. Sprinkle half your “ground and browned” (CC#40, Get Cooked!) bud mixture over the cheese.
5. Using a spatula, fold the tortilla in half (into a half moon) and flip.
6. Cook until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted. Cut into triangular pieces and let cool slightly. Enjoy!
