Yes. CO2 allows the plants to use light more efficiently as long as there is sufficient water and nutrients. It decreases production time and increases the yield. After getting your first light, it is the next tool to use to increase production.
You can use CO2 during the summer too. Just use a CO2 tank. Although it is more expensive than burning natural gas, it is still very economical when compared to the cost of electricity. The ratio of yield?to?cost is very high, so it would be well worth setting up next summer.
