Seven seriously ill Canadians have filed a civil lawsuit against Health Canada for its failure to "attend to the medical needs of sick people who use marijuana for therapeutic purposes".

Prosecutors and judges are asserting they don’t have the time or staff to reopen thousands of cases, just because defendants claim they have been wronged by LAPD police who were convicted of drug dealing and perjury.
