Surgical tape repair

I have a solution that could prove useful to growers. I was training one of my plants, bending it ever so carefully, when I heard that dreaded snap like a piece of celery. I had decapitated one of my prized green friends!
I wrapped the fracture with some 3M Micropore Surgical Tape that I had left-over from a knee operation. The tape is fibrous, like an adhesive gauze, so it holds moisture and breathes well. I sprayed the bandaged area several times a day with water with a couple drops of Superthrive in it.

I am happy to report that a healthy cola has appeared above the damaged area.

Just thought I’d share the discovery with you.

Plant Cast,

Thanks for the information. It is much appreciated, and useful.
