Nevada allows medical pot

On June 4, Nevada joined the US states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Maine, Oregon and Washington, with a new law to allow seriously ill Nevadans to grow up to seven plants for personal medical use. The law also allows for the creation of a state registry for patients whose doctors recommend they use medical pot.
Nevadans voted overwhelmingly in 1998 and 2000 to allow the medical use of marijuana.
