Long clones

Dear Ed,
I was a grower for a long time, but gave it up to travel for a while. When I got back my friend gave me clones from the genetics I gave him. The plants he gave me are rooted, but they are about eight inches long with no leaves except a little crown on top. Should I plant them only as deep as the plants are in the growing cube, or can I also bury part of the stem?

You can bury the root system and the stem deep into the soil. This will provide support for the healthy plant. In addition, some of the nodes where leaves had grown may grow roots.
