Small guilty of medical pot

Bill Small, who grew medical marijuana for Vancouver’s Compassion Club, was in court on March 10 for his sentencing hearing.
Small is a former member of the Compassion Club’s board of directors, was instrumental in its development, and took a loss on supplying the club with inexpensive, quality marijuana (see CC#24 Bill Small pleads guilty).

Small received a $3000 fine and 12 months probation for his role in the medical marijuana grow operation in Roberts Creek, British Columbia.

He and lawyer John Conroy intend to appeal the sentence.
