Jesse Ventura writes to Clinton

Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura sent a letter to President Clinton on September 30, explaining his plans to implement the state’s pro-hemp legislation passed this spring.
“Given the success we have seen in Canada and the continuing economic challenges Minnesota farmers face, I am anxious to move forward,” wrote Ventura.

Ventura also announced that he was sponsoring a special seminar to teach farmers how to apply for hemp-cultivation permits. The November 19 event will be co-hosted by State Agriculture Commissioner Gene Hugoson and Trade and Economic Development Commissioner Jerry Carlson.
