We got many noble attempts but very few right answers for the Ways We Say High puzzle, but most readers correctly solved the Potent Logic. Although we had many US entries, all three winners are from Canada, two from Manitoba!
The Grand Prize winner is Ken in Manitoba, whose fat sack of herbal love arrived safely. The runners up are Kitchener in BC and Ron in Winnipeg. We hope they enjoy their fun prizes.
When you’ve solved the puzzles below, write the solutions onto a piece of paper with your name, address, phone number and/or email, and send it to:
CC Puzzles, Box 15, 199 West Hastings,
Vancouver, BC, Canada, V6B 1H4.
We also accept entries by fax to (604) 669-9038, and by email to [email protected]. Only one entry per household please.
If you solve only one puzzle you get one entry into the draw. If you solve both puzzles you get two chances to win!
We will do a draw from all correct solutions received before November 8. The first name drawn will receive 10 fine seeds from Marc Emery, a well-sealed fat sack, or some cool hempen stuff. Please specify your desires on your entry. Second and third prizes get a copy of Grow Your Own Stone and other fun CC stuff.
Our first puzzle is a Word Search. All of the words on the word list are parts of the names of different fine marijuana strains. They appear in the word search forwards, backwards, diagonal, and every which way. When you’ve found all the words, there will be some letters left over in the grid. Unscramble those letters to form the name of yet another cannabis strain. That’s the solution!
Afghani, Big, Blue, Bud, Durban, Early Bud, Flo, Fourway, Grande, Green, Hawaiian, Haze, Hope, KGB, Kong, Kush, Nagano Gold, Shiva, Skunk, White Rhino, White Widow

The following eight phrases were made by mixing up the names of various marijuana strains. When you’ve unscrambled all the words then the circled letters can be unscrambled to form a short phrase. That’s the solution!
