Hey Itsme..thanks for your flattering comments, they are much appreciated. Your comment is a well founded one. I certainly don't want to suggest to anyone that recycling soil is necessarily without it's possible perils, and for that reason I probably wouldn't suggest growers that are starting out to even attempt it. The problems I tend to experience when reusing my soil mixture haven't been really with pests or disease, but rather problems associated with the buildup of micro nutrients..which is usually fairly easy to remedy if detected early. Perhaps it is my steadfast diligence towards growroom cleanliness..or maybe just dumb luck?? Hehe..hard to say! But in my considerable years of doing so, I have yet to experience any problems with soil borne disease or reoccuring pests as a result of my recycling. Knock wood...  RCcola | |
