The mixture contained enough nutrients to provide the plant that grew in it with everything it needed..so that adding any during watering was not required. ..And somewhat suprisingly..it was done twice! Hehe Generally speaking, I often tend to add a few things before reusing it such as more worm castings or perhaps additional Perlite for example. Aside from sifting out any old roots then tossing in a few handfuls of Lime into the pile...the soil remained as I had left it previously. After I've had a chance to sift it out, I will amend it again. Then once it has sat for a while, I plan to use it again. RCcola | |
