Hey everyone, Well it seems that the topic of the viability of reusing soil is one of constant debate among indoor dirt farmers. So just for the heck of it, I thought I would show you some examples of a few plants that grew or are growing in a recycled mixture. The first pic is of a C99 cutting that is ready for harvest. Immediately after being rooted it was placed in a 1 gallon pot containing reused soil...and then flowering was initiated.. It would seem apparent that the soil I used still contains enough remaining nutrients to get the job done a second time, as short of adding a bit more Lime prior to planting, it remained unammended. During flowering, the pictured plant was given no further nutrients. Aside from being a little Nitrogen deficient towards the end perhaps, I think the mixture performed quite well! What do you folks think?? RCcola | |
